We went to the Opel Zoo outside Frankfurt. It was the most fun!! I am so blessed to have a family that shares my joy in ANIMALS!! We enjoyed the day, started with sleeping in and ended it with dinner at the Mayflower.
Was close to a perfect day!!

I love this zoo. The only thing I hate about it is the hike back up at the end. I love that they let you feed the animals carrots. One time I threw a carrot at an elephant and it landed on top of his head, then continued to stay there the entire time we were there. The kids thought that was pretty funny. Another time, one of the goats in the petting zoo rammed right into Eva on purpose and knocked her over. I tried not to laugh, but it was pretty dang funny. Such a great zoo. Glad you had a great time with the family. How was the restaurant? I don't know which one that is. It looks like Mark is getting around well too. Good to hear!
